About Brightwire

Our own licensed crew does every job

Priya Halvorsen trained as a journeyman electrician and now runs Brightwire as a contractor, so she still writes most of the estimates herself. The team is five strong and based in Boise.

Most of our work comes from houses being asked to do more than they were wired for. A garage that needs to charge a car, a heat pump or a solar array on a panel that is already full, lighting that has to run from a keypad and a phone.

  • Level 2 EV charger installs

Tesla and ChargePoint certified, so the charger, the circuit and your panel are checked to match the car you drive.

  • Smart home wiring and lighting control

Switches, dimmers and keypads wired to work together, with the app set up and shown to you before we pack up.

  • Panel upgrades for solar and heat pumps

We size the new service for what you are adding, whether that is a heat pump, a solar array or a second electric car.

  • Surge protection and camera wiring

A whole-home surge protector at the panel, and tidy cable runs for cameras and doorbells that are easy to service later.

We wire Boise homes with care.
